Tekstallianse Publishing Academy 23.–25. januar 2026

Fullstendig presentasjon under.

___________________________________________________________________________

Spread out over three days in January, the second edition of the Tekstallianse Publishing Academy continues with a series of workshops, engaging on both a material and discursive level. The collectively developed project will take place at USF Visningsrommet and will utilise the exhibition spaces through presentation, readings, gatherings and a public presentation on the final day.

The Tekstallianse Publishing Academy will take the form of a three-day production and festival-style event that brings together young independent publishers, first-time makers, and politically engaged artists and writers to share work, develop skills, and build solidarity through print. The fair will have a core thematic of mutual aid and resistance, looking to amplify activist content through publishing in its multiple forms.

The project will culminate in a one-day public presentation that will incorporate exhibition of the produced material, spoken word performances and catering for all, providing a welcoming space for the public to engage with the participants and their publications directly.

The summer school will be facilitated by Ciara Phillips, Ann-Kristin Stølan from Pamflett, and guest curator Scott Elliott, and will take place from January 23nd until January 25th.

To secure a place at the Tekstallianse Publishing Academy, please submit a short motivation letter to anne@tekstallianse.org by December 9th. Applicants between 18 and 25 years will be prioritized, but we encourage you to get in touch with us regardless of age if you are interested.

If you are in need of travel support or accomodation, let us know, and we will try to find a way to support you.

The Tekstallianse Publishing Academy is free to attend, made possible thanks to generous support from Kulturdirektoratet.
